Vina is a minimalist bar of warm light that washes up and down an exterior wall. The slim rectangular profile sits close to the surface, so by day the fitting reads as a sharp line against brick, render or timber, and after dark the wall itself becomes the feature rather than the fitting. The effect is quiet and even, with the output kept on the wall instead of thrown out across a garden.
The integrated LED sits behind a frosted diffuser, which smooths the output and keeps the light comfortable to stand near at a doorway. The body is powder coated aluminium, sealed against rain, frost and dust for year round use outdoors. Six lengths are made, from 30 cm to 150 cm, so a single fitting can mark an entrance or several can be repeated at intervals along a longer wall.
It suits doorways, garage walls, garden walls and the flank of a house, wherever a clean line of light is wanted rather than a lantern. Choose the length against the wall it will sit on: a short bar reads better beside a door, while a longer run holds its own on a wide facade. Installation is hardwired, so a qualified electrician should make the connection and seal the fixing to the wall.
