The Vixa Linear Spotlight Ceiling Bar puts two kinds of light on one fitting. A continuous 80 cm strip runs the full length of the bar and washes a room with even light, while two small cylindrical spot heads sit below the centre plate and rotate to aim wherever a brighter pool is wanted. The fitting stands 5 cm from the ceiling, which keeps it flush enough for a hallway, a landing or a kitchen with limited head height.

The bar is finished in matt black metal with brass toned rims on the two spot heads, and the strip is diffused in silicone so the LEDs behind it read as one clean line of light rather than a row of separate dots. Because the spots pivot on their mounts, the same fitting can light a worktop, a run of shelving or a piece of artwork where a single flat wash would leave the surface looking dull.

Lockhone supplies the Vixa as an indoor hardwired fitting rated IP20, running on 110V to 240V with warm white LEDs already built in, so no bulb needs buying. It suits rooms of around 10 to 15 square metres such as a living room, home office or dining room. Assembly is required and fitting by a qualified electrician is recommended. Delivery takes 8-15 working days.
