Vosto Matt Black Slim Outdoor Wall Light

The Vosto is a compact wedge of metal that sits close to the wall and throws a controlled wash of warm light straight down. At 8cm square and 6cm deep it stays out of the way beside a door, a gate post or a garage frame, so the wall reads as architecture rather than hardware. The angled front panel shields the LED cell from direct view, which keeps the beam on the wall and the ground below it.

The body, backplate and shade are all metal, finished in matt black. Light comes from a 5W LED running between 2700K and 3500K, warm enough to flatter render, brick and timber after dark without washing them grey. An IP65 rating covers the fitting against dust and against jets of water, so it can face weather on an exposed elevation without a porch or canopy over it.

A single unit marks a front door or a side gate; a run of them along a boundary or a path gives a rhythm of light without lighting the whole garden. Because the beam is shielded, it will not dazzle anyone walking up to the house. Installation is hardwired and assembly is required, so a qualified electrician should carry out the work. The matt black finish wipes clean with a damp cloth once the power is off.
