Wood and Acrylic LED Wall Light

A slim wooden bar, eight centimetres square in section, with an acrylic strip running along its face. It is one of the quieter ways to get useful light onto a wall: no shade to gather dust, no arm to knock, no bulb showing. Mounted horizontally above a bed or a picture it washes the wall evenly; mounted vertically beside a door it reads as a line of light rather than a fitting.

Two lengths are offered. The thirty-five centimetre version suits a bedside, a hallway or the space beside a mirror. The forty-five is better where the wall is larger and the fitting needs to hold its own, above a headboard or along a stairwell. The timber is real rather than a printed film, so the grain varies from piece to piece and the tone deepens slightly with age, as wood does.

Warm and cold white are offered as separate options. Warm is the obvious choice for bedrooms and living rooms; cold suits a study or a hallway where the light has a job to do. The LED module is integrated, so there is no lamp to replace, and the fitting is hardwired to a wall point. It is rated for dry indoor locations only and should be installed by a qualified electrician.
