Wood Bedside Wall Light 30cm

A premium wood body thirty centimetres high and fifteen wide, with a shallow shade angled to throw light down onto a pillow rather than across a room. That angle is the whole point of a bedside wall light: it frees the surface of a nightstand, and it keeps the glare out of the eyes of whoever is not reading. The timber is finished plainly so the grain carries the detail.

Four shade colours are offered. White is the most neutral and suits a pale bedroom; grey is a shade cooler and works in a room with darker linens. Pink and green are softer accent tones, the sort of colour that works better on a small fitting like this than on a large piece of furniture. The wooden body is the same natural finish across all four, so only the shade changes.

Three light tones are available, and a version with no bulb supplied if you already have a preferred LED. Warm white is the obvious choice at a bedside, natural white is more neutral, and cold white suits a study or a hallway better than a bedroom. The fitting is hardwired. Have it installed by a qualified electrician with the circuit isolated at the consumer unit before work begins.
