Yola Path Post Light

The Yola Path Post Light from Lockhone marks out a garden path with one clean line of warm light. A flat aluminium column rises to a head set at an angle, so the LED panel throws light down onto the ground rather than out into windows or across a neighbour's fence. At 60 cm tall it sits at the height where a path reads clearly underfoot while the post itself stays quiet in the border.

Behind the polycarbonate diffuser sits a 16 W integrated LED producing 2400 lumens at 3000 kelvin. That is a warm white close to the colour of an old filament bulb, so planting, brickwork and paving keep their natural tone after dark instead of washing out grey. The light source is built in, which means there is no bulb to buy, fit or replace.

The body is aluminium in a graphite grey finish and carries an IP65 rating, sealed against dust and against water jets from any direction, which covers driven rain and hose-down cleaning. A flat base plate bolts down to paving, decking or a concrete pad. Two or three units spaced along a longer path give an even run of light, and a single post works well beside a doorway or a flight of steps.
