The Yola marks out a garden path with one clean line of warm light. A flat aluminium column rises to a head set at an angle, so the LED panel throws light down onto the ground rather than out into windows or across a neighbour's fence. At 60 cm tall it sits at the height where a path reads clearly underfoot while the post itself stays quiet in the border.
Behind the polycarbonate diffuser sits a 16 W integrated LED producing 2400 lumens at 3000 kelvin. That is a warm white close to the colour of an old filament bulb, so planting, brickwork and paving keep their natural tone after dark instead of washing out grey. The light source is built in, which means there is no bulb to buy, fit or replace. The body is aluminium in a graphite grey finish.
An IP65 rating seals the fitting against dust and against water jets from any direction, which covers driven rain and the garden hose. Set a run of posts along a front path, a driveway edge or a planted border, spacing them so the pools of light just meet. Wipe the diffuser at the end of the season, as a film of dust dulls the output more than people expect.
