Adjustable Candle Warmer Lamp

A candle warmer melts the top of a jar candle from above using heat from two bulbs, so the scent is released without a flame ever being lit. That means no soot on the jar, no wick to trim, no tunnelling down the middle, and no open flame left burning in a room. It also means a candle lasts considerably longer, because the whole surface melts evenly rather than burning away.

This one stands thirty-one centimetres tall on a sixteen centimetre base and weighs a little over a kilo, so it is stable enough to leave on a shelf or a side table. The head height adjusts, which matters because jar candles vary: set it closer for a small votive and higher for a large three-wick. A knob dimmer controls the heat and the light together, and a built-in timer switches it off unattended.

It takes two GU10 bulbs rated up to fifty watts and runs on dual voltage mains from a hundred and ten to two hundred and forty volts. The head and the bulbs get hot in use: keep it on a heat-resistant surface, away from curtains and anything flammable, and out of reach of children and pets. Let it cool completely before moving it or changing a bulb. No therapeutic, medical or air-purifying function is claimed.
