Glass Flower Pendant Light 23cm

The shade on this pendant is pressed into overlapping petals and hung from a brass stem, so the fitting reads as a single open flower seen from below. It measures twenty-three centimetres across and twelve deep, with an adjustable hanging length of up to one hundred and fifty centimetres. Hung low over a breakfast bar the petals catch light on their edges and the shape resolves clearly.

Three glass colours are offered. Clear is the most transparent and shows the bulb, so it works best with a decorative filament LED. Green is the boldest and reads almost like pressed depression glass against a pale ceiling. Brown is the warmest and most muted, and suits a room with timber and brass elsewhere. The stem and fixings are brass on all three versions.

Inside is an E27 fitting rated to a maximum of forty watts, running on two hundred and twenty to two hundred and forty volts, with CE and UL certification. Bulbs are not supplied and some assembly is required. The fitting is hardwired. Fit only to a ceiling point rated for the weight, use a qualified electrician, and isolate the circuit at the consumer unit before any work begins. Clean the glass with a soft damp cloth once it has cooled.
