Glass Shade Pendant Light 15-28cm

A single-shade pendant in glass on a metal suspension, offered in four shade forms and four diameters so it can be scaled to the table or island it hangs over. The glass is clear enough to show the lamp, which is the intention: hung in a row over a kitchen island with a decorative LED filament, the shades read as a line of bright points rather than a row of opaque cones.

The four forms differ in profile rather than decoration. The 15cm teardrop is the smallest and works in threes over a narrow island. The 20cm teardrop suits a two-person breakfast bar. The 25cm peach form is rounder and softer, right above a dining table for four. The 28cm tomato form is the widest and flattest, and it is the one to choose if a single pendant has to do the whole job over a table.

Each takes an E27 lamp, the standard large screw base, so lamps are easy to buy in the UK and you choose the output. The suspension allows an overall drop of around 37cm, adjustable shorter at installation. The input is 90 to 260V for UK mains. Coverage is roughly three to five square metres. No lamp is supplied, and because glass shades are heavier than they look, check the ceiling point.
