Iron and Aluminium Wall Light

A small, honest wall light built from an iron frame and an aluminium shade, offered in two shapes that do slightly different jobs. The round version is 14 centimetres square in elevation and throws a broad, even wash. The rectangular one is 7.5 wide and 19 tall, which gives a narrow vertical stripe of light and suits a doorway reveal or a tight run of wall between two openings.

Each carries two integrated LED sources at a warm 3000K. The round fitting draws 3 to 6 watts for 300 to 600 lumens; the rectangular draws 3 to 7 for 300 to 700. That is genuinely useful output for a corridor or a bedside without being enough to flatten a room, and it arrives pre-assembled so there is no shade to fit. Black is the plainer finish; bronze is warmer and reads better against wood or a deep colour.

This listing is the 220-240 volt UK specification. The fitting is hardwired and rated for dry areas only, so it should be installed by a qualified electrician with the circuit isolated first, and it must not go into bathroom zones 0, 1 or 2. Because the LED is integrated rather than a replaceable lamp, there is nothing to buy and nothing to change, but the light source is not user-serviceable.
