The Liro Deco Arc Pendant Light hangs a wide, shallow dome over a table and turns a single lamp into an even wash of light across the surface below. The metal shade is finished in gloss white with a bright interior that bounces light downwards rather than outwards, so faces around the table stay lit and the room stays free of glare. It is a deco silhouette that has aged well, at home over a dining table, a kitchen island or a reading corner.

One E27 lamp does the work, and the LED supplied with it offers three colour temperatures selected from the existing wall switch, so the same fitting moves from a bright working light for homework to a warm setting for dinner without any extra hardware. The Liro is also dimmable on a compatible circuit. Rated IP20 for indoor rooms, it suits spaces of roughly 10 to 15 square metres.

Three shade widths are made, 35 cm, 45 cm and 60 cm, so the dome can be scaled to the table beneath it. The fixture hardwires to a ceiling rose and needs light assembly on arrival, work best left to a qualified electrician. Lockhone supplies the Liro with the shade, canopy, suspension and one LED lamp in the box. Delivery takes 8-15 working days.
