Perla Rose Glass Globe Wall Light

The Perla sets a rose-pink glass globe within a gold scalloped base. The globe diffuses light in all directions, so shadows soften rather than sharpen and the colour of the glass carries a little warmth into the room. The scalloped base holds its own as a piece of detail when the lamp is off, which matters on a wall where the fitting is in view all day.

The globe is glass and the base is metal in a gold finish. It is compatible with G9 bi-pin bulbs, standard halogen or LED replacements, and the bulb is not included. No integral switch is fitted, so the lamp operates through the room circuit or a compatible wall dimmer. Hardwire installation to a standard backplate is required and professional fitting is recommended.

It works as a decorative accent in a bedroom, a dressing room or a hallway alcove, and suits both neutral and warm-toned interiors without asking the rest of the scheme to follow the colour. Mounted as a pair either side of a mirror it gives even light across a face, which is useful in a dressing room. Wipe the glass with a dry soft cloth once the bulb is cool, and keep abrasive cleaners off the gold finish.
