Rotating Disc Wall Light 14cm

The face of this fitting rotates against its own backplate, so the opening can be turned to throw light up, down or sideways after it has been installed. That is a small piece of engineering with a big practical payoff: one fitting can work as a reading light beside a bed and as an uplighter on a landing without being rewired. The disc is fourteen centimetres across and fifteen deep.

Black and white are both offered. Black keeps the fitting visible as a dark circle against a pale wall, which suits a graphic, modern scheme; white lets it recede almost completely, so only the light itself registers. The metal is finished in a matt paint on both, and the rotating joint is firm enough to hold its position without drifting once it has been set.

The integrated LED draws five watts and produces around five hundred lumens, which is a useful amount of light for a fitting of this size. Three light tones are offered: warm at two thousand seven hundred kelvin, neutral at four thousand, and white at six thousand. The unit is hardwired and rated for dry locations only. Use a qualified electrician and isolate the circuit before any work begins.
