An iron body in a bronze finish carrying a rounded acrylic shade, this small table lamp stands 28 centimetres tall and 11.5 centimetres across, which puts it comfortably on a hall console, a bookshelf or a bedside table where a full-size lamp would be too much. The vintage styling is in the finish and the proportion rather than in any applied decoration, so it sits alongside plainer pieces without competing.
Three versions of the light are offered. Warm white at 3000 kelvin is the one for a living room or a bedroom; cool white at 5000 kelvin is crisper and better where something is being read or worked on; the flame effect flickers slowly and is for atmosphere rather than for seeing by. The 5 watt integrated LED gives 500 lumens and there is no lamp to buy or replace.
The lamp plugs into a socket and runs its LED at 36 volts through the supplied adapter, so use the adapter it comes with and do not substitute another. It is rated for dry areas only and is not waterproof, so keep it away from bathrooms, sinks and windowsills that get rain. Wipe the acrylic with a soft dry cloth; solvents and abrasive cleaners will mark it permanently.
